We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. fantastic!
The animation is setup as a regular motion tween with each image fading into the next. To drive the animation you determine either the x or the y position of the mouse cursor, calculate the percentage it's across or up the screen and then use that percentage as a frame marker so:
100 frame tween. Movie width = 400. Mouse x pos = 100. Percentage eq. 25% (100/400 * 100) so movie frame = 25.
If you need any more help just ask, I won't give out the .fla but can give you some pointers if you like.
